I am so happy to be able to say that I will officially be back at work from Monday 10th September all be it semi-retired.
As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2018 and finally finished all my treatment in July. The doctors and nurses at Treliske (Headland Unit, Mermaid and Sunrise Centres) have been absolutely fantastic – so kind and professional.
I need to say a big “THANK YOU” to all of you for your kind wishes, cards and gifts. I may not have been able to reply to all of you but each one has been appreciated and I have felt very touched and humbled by your comments.
I am looking forward to getting back into a routine, learning to use some amazing new equipment and working with an incredible team; I many even get a little bit emotional.
Just don’t mention the hairstyle!
